The Charms of Fairmount Park provide authentic, traditional settings reflecting the importance of Philadelphia and its history. The Charms Houses, as well as other scenic Fairmount Park locations, can enhance your next celebration or event.  These beautiful settings in the Park provide a natural, classic backdrop celebrating the past. Rental availability and policies vary by individual house.

We've included some information regarding general Charms rental policies to guide you. Since each site has its own specific rental guidelines, please contact each one individually to check on availability, capacity, amenities, costs, approved caterers, approved tent rental providers, and more. 

Please note that Cedar Grove, Mount Pleasant and Sweetbriar do not offer rental opportunities.  Strawberry Mansion will have rentals once it has reopened following restoration in autumn/winter 2012.  Please check back with us for updated information.

The Charms of Fairmount Park:

Laurel Hill:  Laurel Hill is available for luncheons, teas, private parties, weddings, meetings and other social occasions. Indoor rental can accommodate up to 60 people in the octagonal room, with a max of 70 total for indoor rental. An outdoor tent may also be erected, provided by the renter.  Plenty of free parking is available.  A site supervisor is required on the premises for all rentals.  Renters must have liability insurance and agree to house rules and regulations before scheduling.

• Indoor Rental (70 people, maximum), $900.00, max four hours, requires deposit

Lemon Hill: Lemon Hill is available for weddings, luncheons, meetings and private parties. Renters must provide tents, tables, chairs, port-a-potties, etc. A site supervisor is required on the premises for all rentals.  Two staff members are required for large events, at the discretion of the Lemon Hill management. Renters must have liability insurance and agree to house rules and regulations before scheduling. Indoor guests are strictly limited to 70 persons.  Renters may consider an additional tent erected on the north side to increase attendance to 150 people. Food is limited to foyer, porches and tents and no red wine is permitted. Smoking is prohibited.  An outdoor-only rental can accommodate up to 450 people. All types of food and wine are permitted for outdoor rentals.

• Indoor Rental (70 people, maximum): $2500.00, requires non-refundable deposit
• Outdoor Rental (450, maximum): $2500.00, requires non-refundable deposit
• Rental Supervisor’s fee required: $50.00 per hour
