RESEARCH

The Historic Houses of Fairmount Park continue to be relevant to scholars of American history – who along with the houses’ dedicated docents and researchers from Philadelphia’s universities have allowed us to understand ever more about these buildings and the people who lived and worked in them.

It’s important to us that all Philadelphians be able to understand and share in their collective past, and we strive to incorporate new discoveries and narratives into our educational efforts.

We’ve gathered scholarship on the houses here to make it accessible to the public. If you are doing research on or interested in researching one of the Park Charms, let us know about it and we can feature your work.
